America Recycles Day News from Keep America Beautiful – Sept. 21, 2009

Today we launched the national America Recycles Day (ARD) website, expanding the information and tools available to all of our ARD event organizers. For ARD 2009, we have added a number of *NEW* and exciting sections and features:

Register Your ARD 2009 Event NOW!
All KAB affiliates, ARD state organizers, and NRC affiliates should register directly on the national website to receive materials. Community events registered will be eligible to order your ARD event banners, posters, and pencils. Materials will be limited to the first 500 community events to register by October 1, 2009 and materials will be shipped to arrive by October 15, 2009. Upon receipt of your registration, we will share detail with state directors and coordinators.

Steps for Registering ARD Events and Projects

  1. Complete all *required information on the form, hit “Submit.”
  2. Within 48 hours, we will process your form and send an email confirming your registration with links to your event listing on the national site, access to all of the ARD downloads, and a confirmation of your materials order.

America/Missouri Recycles Day Poster Contest

MORA WILL NOT coordinate the Missouri Recycles Day (MRD) poster contest this year. Please check our website periodically - we will have news off and on of new opportunities for teachers and classrooms. We apologize for this inconvenience. We hope to substitute new programs in place of the poster contest in the next few months.
